The sale will begin May 2 and continue throughout the month, ending May 24, or until we have run out of plants.

Join us for our second annual author fair! Ohio is for Writers Book Fest is a celebration of Ohio authors and talent. Meet and support Ohio authors and discover your next favorite read. Whether you’re an avid reader or an aspiring author, this event offers the chance to connect with the creative minds shaping the Ohio literary scene. From children’s books to mystery, fantasy to crime thrillers, horror to poetry, there will be something for everyone. While you’re here, make your own bookish button and stop by the photo op!

***7:00 - 9:00 — Twitty & Lynn: A Salute to Conway & Loretta
There's a moment right at the very beginning of any Twitty & Lynn show that affords country music fans the chance to look back in time. Just after the band has played the signature intro to "Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man," Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn shoot each other a glance that summons the electrifying chemistry of their grandparents: Tre is the grandson of Conway Twitty, Tayla is the granddaughter of Loretta Lynn.
Audiences can't believe their eyes. From that moment, for the next 90 minutes, they're in the presence of living country music history.
The duo credits their show's popularity to the timeless songs of Conway and Loretta - duets like "After the Fire Is Gone" and "You're the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly" are all in the set, along with Conway and Loretta solo hits like "Hello, Darlin'" and "Coal Miner's Daughter." But they're also giving the audiences a chance to relive a moment in time that ended far too soon: Conway and Loretta stopped touring together full-time in 1981, and Conway died in 1993.

Enjoy a relaxed and meaningful day at Great Seal State Park for a fundraiser to support student travel to France! The event will take place on May 3rd, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at the shelter house. It’s a casual, come-and-go style gathering where you can enjoy hiking, light refreshments, games, and time outdoors while connecting with students and learning more about their upcoming trip.
This is a great opportunity to support a good cause while spending time with the community. The walk registration fee is $10 per person, and you can sign up ahead of time or simply show up that day. Whether you plan to hike, hang out, or just stop by, we’d love to have you be part of it!

***10:00am — Feast of the Flowering Moon Princess Pageant
Pageant will take place on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Majestic Theatre located at 45 E. Second Street. Contestants must arrive in the times listed below.
Tiny Miss (Ages 3-4): Check-In at 10:00am / Pageant at 10:30am
Petite Miss (Ages 5-6): Check-In at 11:30am / Pageant at 12:00pm
Little Miss (Ages 7-9): Check-In at 1:00pm / Pageant at 1:30pm
Junior Miss (Ages 10-12): Check-In at 2:30pm / Pageant at 3:00pm
All winners will be crowned the day of pageant.
